Virtual Zoo at Croft Middle Design Center Expands

15-year Partnership with Nashville Zoo

Virtual learning initiative will expand zoo keeping and zoology programs for students

 

WHAT:

Croft Middle Design Center will introduce a virtual learning initiative that expands its 15-year partnership with Nashville Zoo and introduces educational partnerships with T-Mobile, Vanderbilt University’s Department of Teaching and Learning and the Center for Science Outreach, Dell Computers and Discovery Education.

 

WHY:

As a Phase I STEAM (science, technology, engineering, arts and mathematics) middle school, Croft will integrate STEAM curriculum into its zoology emphasis by incorporating technology as a way to provide access for more students to participate in the study and research of animals.
