State of Schools Address will be held March 28

Dr. Joseph will share strategic plan updates and budget priorities at Overton High School

 

WHAT:

Director of Schools Dr. Shawn Joseph will present his second State of the Schools Address on March 28 at 10:30 a.m.

 

WHY:

Dr. Joseph will reflect on district accomplishments and provide updates to MNPS staff and community partners on budget priorities including: support of literacy efforts, college readiness, social emotional learning, equity and diversity, school-based budgeting and employee compensation.

 

WHO:

  • Dr. Shawn Joseph, Director of Metro Nashville Public Schools
  • Student participation from Norman Binkley Elementary School, Oliver Middle School, Nashville School of the Arts and Overton High School
  • All MNPS staff are invited to attend along with community partners, the Board of Education, the Mayor’s Office and Metro Council Members.
